Happy Easter friends! I hope you have had a great week and that you’re having an amazing weekend. And if you’re reading this later on, I still hope you’re having a great day!

This week was interesting for me. I only worked one day. But on that one day, I set up a small Easter egg hunt for me coworkers. Each of them had to find 2 eggs and bring them to me after getting their candy out, and when they brought them to me, they would get an extra prize. They seemed to enjoy it, and it was fun for me to see.

I was off the rest of the week because my dad had shoulder surgery on Tuesday. It went well, and he’s doing pretty good. It’ll be a road to recovery, but we’re just glad that part is done.

My plan for my free time this week, when I wasn’t helping dad or driving somewhere, was to get some writing done. I had all intentions of writing at least a couple of blog posts, and some on my stories as well. Did that happen? Of course not. It’s Saturday, and I’m just now writing this post. Per usual.

So, this post is random. And probably short. But it is one that has been on my list to write, so it’s not something I just came up with on a whim.

I’m going to show you guys some of the accessories I use for my journaling and for this blog. And as I type that, it sounds like it’s going to be boring, but I hope it’s not too bad for you.

Let’s talk about my pens. Look, as a writer, I love pens. I love all kinds of pens. And when I find pens I like, I end up buying tons of them. I’ve gone through stages with different kinds of pens over and over again. But the pens I use to journal are special. And I think I’m going to be using the same ones until I can’t buy them anymore.

I first got my key pens from my brother for either my birthday or Christmas one year. He found them on wish.com and bought me a set. I fell in love because I thought they looked so cool. And when I finished the first set, he bought be another one that we found on Amazon. But last year sometime, we found an even bigger set of key pens on Amazon, and I bought it. I couldn’t resist. There were like 40 something keys in the set.

I now have an empty tissue box filled with pens that are out of ink. I don’t know what I’m going to do with them, but I want to keep them and find something to do at some point.

And then I have a container with the rest of the pens ready to use for my nightly journaling.

I use these pens every single time I write in my set of nightly journals. And I love them.

Another accessory that is used every day are my bookmarks. Most of my journals have the ribbons that go in the middle of pages or the elastic band that is attached at the back that I use as bookmarks. But I also have a couple bookmarks that I use to help keep up with what page I’m on.

The pink bookmark is actually from the Cultivate website. I, of course, use it in my Cultivate journal. And the Jack Skelington bookmark was 3D printed by my brother and I use it in my main journal. I love The Nightmare Before Christmas, so he made the bookmark for me. :)

I do have a list pad that I use to keep track of my blog post ideas. There are plenty of ideas on there, but when it comes time to write them, they don’t always stick out to me. But I will cover them at some point. Sometimes, I just have to add something new to the list and mark it off.

And I love little sticky notes and little decorative pieces of paper. I use them for times when I need to add something I skipped in my journal, or if I don’t have a picture for a section of the blog. You’ll recognize some of them from some of my previous posts on here.

I hope this post wasn’t too boring. I just wanted to give you another little insight on what I do and what I use for my journaling.

We’ll see what happens for next week‘s post. See ya then!

Have a great week!
