Happy Sunday friends! It’s that time again. I took pictures each day this week and I’m gonna share them with you. I think this week‘s pictures are pretty great.
There are only a couple days left in May, so this little challenge is almost over. But it’s been a fun one for me.

I teach kindergarten and first grade boys at church every other Sunday morning. You never know what’s going to happen with the boys; they are a handful, but they are so much fun.
Last Sunday, we talked about Eli’s sons taking the Ark of the Covenant into battle, disobeying God. For our activity, we made Ark of the Covenant out of graham crackers, icing, and pretzel sticks. We had a blast. And the boys did so well at making their pieces. They also enjoyed getting to eat them.

Monday, I took the day off to go with dad on a little road trip. He does AED (Automated External Defibrillator) inspections. He had to go to the Asheville area, and wanted some company. So, I went along. And I learned how to help him do the inspections as well. We went to 6 different CVS stores.
For lunch, he wanted to take me to P. F. Changs because he had it once and really liked it. And we both love Asian food, so I was game. And it was delicious! We had Dynamite Shrimp and egg rolls to start. I ordered Crispy Honey Chicken. It was one of the best dishes I‘ve ever had.
But this meant even more to me because I got to spend all day with dad. It was just the two of us driving around in the rain all day. We were gone for about twelve hours, and it was an amazing day. I love getting to just chill with my dad.

Look at him! Isn’t he just the most majestic, beautiful creature? That handsome boy is my sweet Diesel. And I just love him to death. Sometimes, he just comes and sits with me, and I love it. He’s not one to cuddle all the time, so when he does want to be close and get attention, I take full advantage. And I just had to get a picture of him looking off in that majestic way. He’s so handsome!

I brought back the water jug to my work days. It had been a couple months since I filled up the water jug and drank water throughout the day. I have been able to tell the difference. I see it in my skin and my hair and just my overall feeling of being. So, I brought it back out this week. And I’ve done really well at keeping up with drinking the water. I haven’t finished the gallon, but I have been drinking a lot more water than I was, so I count it as a win.

Another picture of Diesel? Why not? He’s my good boy.
Thursday, while I was attempting to do my journal routine, he decided he wanted attention. He sat on my lap for a few minutes, but he wasn’t satisfied. He had to be all up in my way and just lay on my planner. So, for a good five minutes, I gave him as much attention as he wanted because I couldn’t do anything else; and I wouldn’t want to do anything else.
Also, peep Giada in the back. I was watching Next Food Network Star.

This is a piece of cake. This is a piece of ricotta cake from Aria. This is a piece of cake that I will remember for a really long time. Not because it was delicious (even though it was absolutely delicious). But because it reminds me of another night with my friends.
Sarah, Rosalyn, and I went out Friday night to celebrate Rosalyn’s birthday. The car ride to Charlotte kicked us off with fun conversation and laughter. Then we sat down to dinner. The conversation, laughter, and fun did not stop. Munching on bread, ordering adventurous dishes, and enjoying amazing food and desserts was only a fraction of what made the evening so amazing.
These two girls have been such a blessing in such a weird time for me. And I couldn’t ask for better friends. And this dinner was just another memory we will cherish.
But even after dinner, we had another fun adventure. We walked around Charlotte for a little bit. And when we got to the park and had been there for just a couple minutes, fire works started after the baseball game. It was perfect timing, and such a fun addition to our night together.
So, yeah, this is a picture of a piece of cake. But when I look at this picture, I see a whole night of fun and adventure with two of the best friends I could ever ask for.

I bought these a couple of months ago and hadn’t used them. But on Saturday, I got them out and used a couple of them to make notes in a new project I started.
They’re cat sticky notes if you couldn’t tell. And they are the best sticky notes I’ve ever bought. They don’t have a lot of room for writing. But they’re adorable. And I love them. And they make my notebook entertaining. It makes it fun for me. And making writing fun is important for me.
So, cat sticky notes.
I‘m not sure what next week’s blog post will look like. But I’lol figure it out. Thanks for joining me! I hope you all have a great week!!
